Then you will enter the Chengrabandha border of India on foot. After finishing the immigration work there, you can go to the money exchange shop there and make money. They usually give good rates. And you must keep the receipt of the exchange with you. A lot of time may be needed later. This time you have to go from Chengrabandha to Jaigaon - you can go either by bus or taxi. The bus fare is around 100 rupees and depending on the size of the taxi it will take around 1000-2000 rupees. However, the taxi fare has to be fixed at a very bargain price. But if you have a ticket from Dhaka to Siliguri, you can take that bus. In that case you have to get off at Mainaguri bypass. This is the first time you have to get on a bus here and take an Indian bus to a place called Hasimara. Hasimara bus fare from Mainaguri will be around 50 rupees. Get off the bus at the Indian Immigration Office in Jaigaon. From here only Thimphu and Paro are allowed to visit. Punakha, Galefu, Yes Valley, you have to take permission separately from Thimphu to visit these places.

Funtsholing City in Bhutan -

And if you arrive late in the afternoon and have not booked a hotel in advance, it is better to stay here. Because it takes 5-6 hours to go to Thimphu by bus from Funtsholing. And as I said in the previous article, hotels, restaurants or shops will not be open in Bhutan after 8 pm. So keep that in mind and plan accordingly.
